We have the I-Care Tonometer, which is a drop-free/puff-less way to check your eye pressure. It is fast, accurate and painless!
We have the iCare EIDON Widefiled Trucolor Fundus Camera, which is the state of the art, wide angle retinal camera that takes high definition photos of the back of the eye.
We also have the Smart System VR Visual Field Tester which uses a Virtual Reality Headset to measure the sensitivity of the visual field. This allows the patient to perform this test while seated or laying down and both eyes can be tested at the same time.
The Readalyzer is an infrared device which is used to evaluate reading eye movements. The individuals is given a paragraph to read silently, that is at or below their current reading level, while wearing goggles with infrared sensors. The microelectronics inside the goggles allow for accurate high-speed recordings of the exact position of the eyes and their movements during the reading of the passage; the data are captured to a computer and analyzed automatically.
We have the Sanet Vision Integrator (SVI) which is a multi-sensory therapy tool that incorporates eye hand coordination with cognitive processing and balance tracking. This tool is used to enhance ocular pursuits, saccades, fixation stability, eye hand coordination, visual reaction time, speed and span of recognition, automaticity, and contrast sensitivity.
We have the VTS 4 Computer Orthoptics Program, this program uses a 3-D projector and 3-D glasses to project images on a screen, the patient will also have a controller to play therapy “games”. This works on eye teaming, convergence, divergence, vergence facility, accommodation as well as ocular pursuits and saccades.
We have the Optics Trainer Eye Tracking which has cutting edge eye tracking hardware to detect where the patient is looking. This includes games that make vision therapy fun and engaging while remediating visual processing problems. These games have instant biofeedback for the patient on where their eyes are aiming.
We use syntonic phototherapy which is a light-based treatment for vision problems. Light therapy is a power tool that can improve eye strain, headache, tension, light sensitivity, and peripheral vision. We offer many different ways to do light therapy.
1. Syntonizer : We have a syntonizer in the office that patients can use as a part of their in office vision therapy session.
2. At home syntonics: We provide colored goggles that can be used for light therapy at home.
3. Focal-Local Treatment: This method involves applying specific light wavelengths to extrinsic muscle points, as well as other vision points on the body to bring about an energetic balance to improve visual function.
We recognize the power of Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) and Low Laser Light Therapy in supporting the body’s natural self-healing ability. We offer these treatments as an adjunct to our vision therapy sessions. We find that these therapies are restorative and help patients reenergize and recover after their vision therapy sessions.
