James is an Air Force veteran and has a background in robotics and electrical systems. He is involved in all of the day-to-day operations of the practice as well as training and onboarding all new staff.
In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and camping.

Leslie is our amazing optician and optical manager. She is ABO certified and has been in the industry for over 20 years. She has a talent for finding unique and flattering frames for individuals. She orders, dispenses, and adjusts glasses, and is knowledgeable about prisms, tints, lens materials, etc. She especially loves working with our patients because she can see the life changing effects that lenses have them.
In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her partner, children and grandchildren.

Makenna has been with our office since 2020. Her hardworking attitude and aptitude for learning has made her a invaluable member of our office. You can hear her answering phone calls, see her assisting patients in selecting frames and lenses, as well as many other important roles in our office. Makenna is completing her certification to become a licensed optician, and made the Dean's list last semester!
Makenna has a wonderfuly calm, quiet and friendly disposition and has amazing intuition. In her free time she loves to spend time outdoors and attending concerts with her friends.

Jocelyn is a patient services coordinator at our office. You can hear her bright, positive voice when you call the office. She is kind, friendly and enjoys helping our patients with their needs. She has also taken the new role of vision therapy coordinator.
Jocelyn is great with technology as well and in her free time she likes to spend time with her family and her pet tortoise.

Connie has 50 years of experience as a vision therapist. She had the privilege of working with many vision therapy doctors in Colorado. She retired in 2016 but return in 2019 to work with Dr. Hutchins and more recently with Dr. Chang. She has experience in early childhood development as well as infant visual enhancement, children with special needs, autism, academic challenges, and traumatic brain injuries.
Training and Education:
- BA in Physical Education from Wayne State College
- COVT certification in 1998

Annie has been a vision therapist for over 16 years, she enjoys working with adults and children of all ages in helping them reach their visual goals. She has had extensive training and experience in treating children with strabismus and amblyopia, as well as patients with autism and tramatic brain injuries.
Annie has also trained new vision therapists in her previous employment. We are so fortunate to have her as part of our vision therapy team and enjoy her friendly positive attitude and teamwork.

Liz has a background in teaching Martial Arts and later, High School English. She is adept at getting shy kids and teens to open up and is skilled in relating to patients of all ages. While she is a new vision therapist, Liz is knowledgeable about being a vision therapy patient and understands the challenges, frustrations, and excitements of the patient experience.
In her free time, Liz enjoys reading giant tomes, petting her kitties, playing with her dog, or spending time with her partner and stepson.
Education:
Bachelor’s of Arts in English from Portland State University
Master’s of Education in Secondary English Education from Western Governor’s University

Amy has been a vision therapist for over 18 years. She is certified though the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD). She is passionate about vision therapy, and has special interests in patients with traumatic brain injury, amblyopia and strabismus. Amy's patients describe her as kind and understanding. She enjoys helping people regain their visual skills and achieve their full potential.

Renee has been a vision therapist for four years, she enjoys connecting with her patients on a deeper level and learning what their passion and interests are. She loves seeing the transformations through vision therapy.
